2021 was a great year as I managed to get back into reading books. It was a good year as I read books on different themes — Innovation, Self-improvement, Biographies, and Venture Capital. All of them are my favorites as they are offering a wide range of perspectives on different topics.

Reading for me is the opportunity to find my own space and a way to learn new things. I am always curious to explore unknown territories and learn from other perspectives.

The list of my books are:

  1. Shift the Narrative: A Blind Man’s Vision for Rewriting the Stories that Limit Us by Russell Redenbaugh and George Gilder (Biography and life lessons)
  2. How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need by Bill Gates (Climate Change)
  3. Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell (Self-improvement)
  4. Grit by Angela Duckworth (Self-improvement)
  5. Angel: How to Invest in Technology Startups — Timeless Advice from an Angel Investor Who Turned $100,000 into $100,000,000 by Jason Calacanis (Venture Capital)
  6. No Rules Rules: Netflix and the Culture of Reinvention by Reed Hastings and Erin Meyer (Corporate culture)
  7. Venture Deals: Be Smarter Than Your Lawyer and Venture Capitalist by Brad Feld and Jason Mendelson (Venture Capital)
  8. Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear (Self-improvement)
  9. Man’s Search for Meaning Paperback by Viktor E. Frankl (Biography)
  10. Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future by Peter Thiel and Blake Masters (Innovation)

I will be sharing the learning from each book in the coming days. My favorite book is “Shift the Narrative by Russell Redenbaugh”. An inspiring story of a person who defeats all odds to achieve big success.
